Challenge Day 8

Today is day 8 of the cleaning challenge.  I'm getting an early start to get it taken care of and out of the way!  Lets jump right in...

CLEAN:

Kids toy room, craft room, spare room or extra living room (one only) - Today’s task is a bit of a mix as I realise all our homes are different, some have a toy room for the kids, you maybe lucky enough to have a space dedicated to your hobby, a spare room or extra 2nd lounge room.  I’d like you to clean at least one of the above rooms.    
Today’s cleaning task is to do the following:

General room cleaning list:

• Tidy area by placing all items where they belong
• Empty bins
• Dust/wipe over all surfaces
• Clean window
• Pick up items from the floor to make vacuuming easier
• Clean skirting boards
• Vacuum floor

DECLUTTER:

Kids toys

ORGANIZE:

Create a family responsibility system (My kids are too young for this, so we'll go ahead and skip that one.)

NEW HABIT:

Tidy a shelf or small space in your kids room each night before bed.  This helps keep the mess to a minimum.

JUST 5 MINUTES:

Clean up the main room in your home to keep your hard work from earlier going.

For this challenge, the room I cleaned was my daughters room along with the open side of our living room.  Toys seem to creep between the two spaces, so I treated them as one mess.  Mostly, it was just a lot of picking up and sorting to put all the pieces of things back together.
